Crystal Alignment
- From marccd select
the "Crystal Alignment" Tab from the menu on your
right
- Adjust the light around your crystal by ticking Paddle, Back and Xtal.
- Paddle will put a small white background
behind your crystal
- Back will turn on a small bright blue
LED light pointing to the paddle
- Xtal will turn on a small bright blue
LED light pointing to the your crystal.
- Tick on the box next to the name to turn them
on/off.
- Identify your crystal in the loop (tricky business)
- Click with the middle mouse button on it. You
should get a dark cross-air.
- Click on "Centre in 2D". This
motion is a combination of XY translation and a 90 degree rotation
- The crystal will move to the centre of the screen.
- Repeat steps 5 to 8 until you are happy with
your cantering.
Alternatively you can also use:
- "Move Crystal". This motion
is a combination of XY translation.
- +90/-09. This is a 90 degree rotation.
- B. Adjust Brightness.
- C. Adjust Contrast.
- Z. Adjust Zoom.
