User ID and password can be obtained by your station scientist.
The desktop should look like this:
You will have to start three programs by clicking the related icons at the bottom of the desktop in the following order:
- Start by clicking on the single man
icon
(if you click again on this icon while the GUi is running it will kill all the running applications and restart them again) - After this an interface will appear:
This is the interface you will use to:
- perform a fluorescence scan on your sample
- select your wavelength
- optimise pitch and bend of the second crystal to maximize the flux
By clicking on the menu you will need to open the following windows:
MONO GENERAL
tab to select your wavelength
MONO SECOND CRYSTAL
to optimise pitch
and bend of the second crystal to maximize the flux
